Flamery is a proud member of the Rack Systems family (www.racksystems.co.uk). Established in 1989 and now the UK's leading manufacturer in the office and educational furniture industry, Rack specialises in the design and manufacture of metal components for desk and table under-frame systems. Desk legs… sounds boring, we know!
Now, with Flamery, we've decided to spice things up—literally! This venture is born out of a passion for grilling and a desire to bring Argentinian-style cooking to the UK.
Made in Britain, our BBQs have been developed to revolutionise outdoor cooking. Beyond the adjustable grills and firebox to replicate traditional Asado cooking, the grill features a unique lid design that tackles the unpredictable British weather head-on. But that’s not all… the lid improves the versatility of our product, allowing you to transform your grill into a BBQ, smoker, and pizza oven as well.
How did it all start?
You might be thinking the leap from office furniture to Argentinian Asado Grills seems like a long one. However, to us, Flamery just makes sense!
Let's start from the beginning. Richard Field, Rack Systems' Managing Director, has always had a love for outdoor fire cooking. Over the years, as the owner of a large manufacturing business with in-house design and engineering capabilities, he has developed a range of BBQs, grills, and rotisseries purely for personal use…
In 2023, Richard set out a brief to design and manufacture the perfect Asado-style Argentinian grill for his own back garden. What began as another personal passion project soon caught the creative spark of Jonathan Clark.
Following the successful launch of a post-COVID eCommerce venture, Shelved, led by Jonathan (check it out at www.shelved.co.uk), over the course of a year the Flamery Asado BBQ grill was developed. Blending Jonathan's design expertise and Richard's love for Argentine grilling into a precision-engineered, highly versatile product designed for the commercial market.

Flamery grills are manufactured by us in our comprehensively equipped, 60,000 sq ft factory in North Yorkshire. Benefiting from continuous investments in state-of-the-art machinery by Rack Systems, our parent company, we ensure that everything we produce is of superior quality—no middlemen here.

We don’t just design and manufacture grills; we love the joy of wood-fired cooking! While we may not be professional chefs, our passion for the Asado grilling tradition, perfecting pizzas, and mastering the barbecue is unmatched. We spend our days off experimenting with new recipes and techniques to share with you.
